NOTE: the tighter your knot or bow, the more secure your ribbons will feel.

When the Weather gets Cooler
Add leg warmers or tights for a funky, flirty look. Espadrilles also look fabulous peeking out from your favorite jeans.

Caring for your Espadrilles

dab your espadrilles clean dry clean only
To clean dirt and/or mud from most fabrics: let dirt dry and then gently brush off what you can. Take care of any remaining dirt or stains with a dab of liquid dish soap on a clean, damp cloth. Delicate Fabrics (silk, satin, etc): best to take to a drycleaner that specializes in shoes.

do not wash
Your espadrilles should not be machine-washed or tumble-dried.

When packing your espadrilles, lightly stuff each shoe with a sock or tissue paper to help keep the shape. Place in shoe bags or wrap a t-shirt around each shoe, and pack securely to avoid jostling of embellishments.

To freshen up wrinkled ribbons, lay flat and iron on low setting. Velvet ribbon should be ironed on the backside only. Rope or leather ankle ties should not be ironed.
